RCPWG brings together agencies and organizations dedicated to advancing equitable climate mitigation and adaptation action in the Monterey Bay Area, which encompasses Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz counties.
Get Involved
Become an RCPWG member or advisor to join us in advancing climate solutions across the Monterey Bay Area! RCPWG also provides the opportunity for organizations to join RCPWG as an observer before committing as a member or advisor. Observers are able to join RCPWG Strategy Team meetings to get involved and gain a deeper understanding of what membership entails.

Membership Types
RCPWG offers three types of memberships. Dues-paying members contribute on a sliding scale and vote in collaborative decisions, which we make using a consent-based model. This means if no one objects, we move forward together, quickly and cooperatively.
Agency Members
Local government agencies including cities and counties. Voting and dues-paying membership.
Regional Members
Regional government agencies including our region's council or governments, special districts, and other regional organizations. Voting and dues-paying membership.
Advisory Organizations
Environmental justice groups, community-based organizations, tribal governments and organizations, and 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations. Non-voting and non-dues-paying membership.
